The objective of the Transnational Law Program is to provide an opportunity for students to obtain a transnational legal education and to be trained as transnational lawyers.
Trento Faculty of Law offers this program in close cooperation with Washington University School of Law (WUSOL) in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA (http://law.wustl.edu/tlp/).
For Trento students the TLP program is intended to prepare lawyers for the globalizing legal market, enabling them to be admitted at the same time to the USA “Bar exam” and to the Italian “esame per l’abilitazione alla professione forense”.
The program will be characterized by the following:
- selected students enrolled in the third year of the Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza program and admitted to WUSOL will attend two semesters of classes in the United States of the Master in Law (LLM) program;
- Trento TLP students graduates will receive two final degrees: one from WUSOL (LLM) and one from Trento (Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza);
- Scholarships and reductions of the LLM fees will be offered to amitted students.
