The Faculty of Law has worked intensively in the last weeks to better organise the restart of the teaching activities for the next academic year (2020/2021).
The national rules currently in force on security and social distancing for the containment of the COVID-19 infection are still very restrictive, also as regards the use of the spaces available within the universities. As a matter of fact, very strict provisions still apply in this regard: distance of one meter between people is to be guaranteed, gatherings are interdicted, spaces are to be sanitized at each change of user, flows of entry and exit from buildings are to be kept separate.
In this context - which is certainly not simple and which greatly limits the range of options for the University of Trentino as a whole - the Faculty of Law has tried to develop solutions aimed at pursuing a gradual return to its premises of students, professors and administrative staff, as well as a restart of on-site teaching in September.
This will be a careful and gradual restart, and it will be reserved in the first place to the students of all first-year courses. The classes for the students of years following the first will begin online, at least for the first semester. The activities of the Doctoral School and the School of Specialization for Legal Professions may take place regularly.
NEWS: some courses for students of years following the first year will be held both online and on-site.
The following courses will be held on-site:
• Diritto del commercio e dell'arbitrato internazionale
• Diritto del lavoro KZ
• Dottrina dello Stato
• Diritto privato e antitrust dell'Unione Europea
• Filosofia del diritto corso avanzato
• Introduction to Economics – CEILS course
• Introduzione al diritto cinese
The schedules and classrooms of these courses are indicated on the EasyAcademy portal.
In September exams will continue to be held online, but the Faculty of Law will be able to set up solutions between November and December in order to allow the administration of exams at least partially on-site.
All students - both from the single cycle five-years Degree in Law, and from the Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative European and International Legal Studies - will be able to consult the schedule of classes on the EasyAcademy portal.
N.B. ALL STUDENTS WHO WANT TO ATTEND CLASSES ON-SITE MUST RESERVE THEIR SEAT ON THE EASYACADEMY PORTAL
In order to attend classes online all students must sign up for the specific community activated for each course within the Moodle platform by Saturday 12 September.
The schedule of the classes for the first-year students on-site is available in the download box of this page. The download box also contains the list of courses for years following the first and the type of e-learning for each course (synchronous, asynchronous, blended). Please take also note of the time frames when it is possible to access the classrooms of the Faculty and what the entry and exit routes are.
