Law School Series
The publishing activity today
As of 24th September 2014, the departmental structure "Faculty of Law" has adopted new guidelines for the publishing activity, according to which the Faculty edits the series "Monografie" and "Quaderni della Facoltà di Giurisprudenza".
On the basis of a licence agreement the printing and distribution of both series is entrusted to Editoriale Scientifica, which guarantees the widespread distribution (in Italy and abroad) of the volumes published in the printed edition. The Faculty reserves all rights of economic use on the digital editions of the volumes.
In particular, the digital volumes are available free of charge on the Internet through the Open Access repository (Repository "IRIS") of the University of Trento. Each volume of the series displays its own ISBN and the specification "Publisher: University of Trento". Thus, broad rights of use with permissive licenses such as Creative Commons Licenses is granted to the public, in accordance with the principle of Open Access established by the Statute of the University of Trento (Art. 2.8), the University Policy on Open Access to Scientific Literature and the General Regulations of the Faculty of Law (Art. 1.2).
On the digital edition, the existence of the paper edition is highlighted with the details of the publisher.
